1840

First white settlement commenced in Millmerran area at Tummaville.

c1851

First cotton crop grown in what is now Millmerran Shire at Yandilla Station.

1867

First Mail service commenced through Yandilla.

1877

All Saints Anglican Church built at Yandilla.

1881

Edward Walpole, occupier of lease portion 3460, 1280 acres on Back Creek and commences Millmerran's first commercial enterprise with a store to serve selectors. The town of Millmerran commences

1882

First School, Yandilla Provisional School, opens at Back Creek

1889

Back Creek changes name to Domville.

1894

Domville changes name to Millmerran.

1902

First car to visit Millmerran.

1910

First Bank, Queensland National, opens in Millmerran.

1913

Millmerran Shire proclaimed a Local Government Authority. First Shire Office, now the Historical Society and Museum, opens.

1914

Telephone Exchange opens in Millmerran.

1920

First plane lands in Millmerran by Lieutenant McComb.

1921

War Memorial unveiled in Anzac Memorial Park.

1922

Ted Pimm commences Carrying business with team of horses.

1923

Present Millmerran State School opens.

1924

First Agricultural, Pastoral, Horticultural and Industrial Show inaugurated.

1932

Bringalilly Land Ballot opens.

1936

Millmerran Dairy Co-op Association Butter Factory opens.

1947

First electric lighting to houses and streets in Millmerran.

1952

Present day Millmerran Hospital opened.

1960

Millmerran State High School opened.

1961

Underground water distribution system installed.

1966

Millmerran Swimming Pool opened

1968

Millmerran Butter factory closed.

1984

Millmerran Centenary Retirement Village Yallambee opens

1992

Gore Highway officially declared between Goondiwindi and Toowoomba via Millmerran.

1998

First of the historic murals created on the Shire's Water Supply & Pumping Station in Millmerran.

1999

Inaugural Australian Camp Oven Festival held on 2nd & 3rd October.

2003

Millmerran coal fired Power Station construction completed.
