The top right hand mural illustrates a haresting scene in the cotton fields of Cecil Plains. The cotton is being harvested by a 2 row picker and tipped into a four wheel trailer. These trailers had no brakes or lights and were operated under a special licence from sunrise to sunset.

The top left hand mural - Wheat growing was developed on the black soil plains in the 1930's. Depicted in this mural is a rain stripper, which was the forerunner of today's combine harvester.

The bottom left mural shows a typical working scene, minus the dust, with a man on horseback and the ever present and essential working dog. The early wool clips were transported by bullock or horse drawn wagon to Brisbane then sent by sail or steam to England where the bales were sold.

The bottom right mural depicts a team of ten bullocks pulling a jinker loaded with logs out of the forest to the sawmill. The teamster holding his ship is located near the lead bullock.
